Client wishes to restate their trust agreement. They originally executed the trust when they were single, and they are now married. However, they do not want to make any provisions for the surviving spouse and want all assets to be kept separate.

It depends on how the client wants the assets to be distributed, but we recommend referencing the marriage even if nothing is left to the spouse.
