Custom Profile: I selected the “unmarried” Named Recipients option for customizing a profile, yet at the beginning, I am still asked if the client is married and must specify whether the spouse is a US citizen, even though I chose “not married.”
These questions are asked every time you start the process of customizing a will or trust profile – or if you edit one of your customized profiles. You could create different assumptions for different profiles (or change them while editing), and these three questions are vital to the program displaying the correct information.
