Formatting

Word lets you divide your document into sections so you can control page formatting separately for each section. For example, each section of your document can have its own header and footer, orientation, formatting, and spacing.

There are a few tips for making documents shorter.

When a document is assembled in Google Docs and not Word, the Object Tags are no longer "hidden text" like in Word, in Google Docs they become "plain text". Hidden text will not print, however, plain text will print.

From the ILS Style Pane, hoover over TR_Base and select the down arrow to expose the menu. Select Modify to modify your base font.

There are two different solutions you can try.

You can hide the object tags, by turning off the option to show all of the formatting, which is the paragraph symbol, and they shouldn’t print.

Double-click in the footer area.

This will show users how to change the paper size to "Legal".
