Single Beneficiary or Blossom Trust

This document includes sample text that may be inserted in an irrevocable trust in order to create an initial trust for a single beneficiary, which then expands (or blossoms) into a trust for the grantor’s spouse and/or descendants during the grantor’s life. This language is provided by the InterActive Legal Content Team as an example of this single beneficiary trust approach, and is designed for use with the InterActive Legal form simply referred to as the “Irrevocable Trust” (most typically, using the SLAT profiles under that form).
